This committee will be tasked with discussing and addressing the growing global synthetic opioids crisis that is a major menace to public safety and health. In line with its special interest in stemming juvenile narcotic deaths, the committee will discuss ways of containing the production, trafficking, and abuse of synthetic opioids.
